ABOUT

Chris, the owner of Traditional Fairground Co. has been working in the Fairground industry since the tender age of 11 years old, working the dodgems (back when it was just 10p a ride), and using the winter period to update many Showman's attractions with his beautiful style of fairground art, through to the 1980's, owning a popular rifle range side stall at Ffrith Beach, Prestatyn, and then in 2007 when he decided to start a small funfair hire business, which in 2024 is well and truly thriving and continues to show off his superb fairground artist skills to this day.

In July 2024 Chris was also handed keys to a much desired Kiosk on North Wales' coast 'Garth Pier', which houses an Old Penny Arcade museum, something Chris has wanted to achieve for many years...bringing back traditional amusements to a Victorian Pier.

Many family and close friends work alongside Chris, ensuring a good work ethic and atmosphere is to be found when using Traditional Fairground Co. Above all, Chris's attractions and the artwork that can be found on them, really do speak for themselves.

With Traditional Fairground Co. you can be sure that your hire equipment has both been tested and each piece lovingly taken care of, so it arrives to you in the condition we can be proud of. For those of you considering manned hire, all staff are trained to work each piece of equipment, and for festive occasions can dress up in traditional vintage style costume for you, lending a bit of seasonal atmosphere to your event.

Our attractions are perfect for birthday parties, weddings, theatre, film/tv and shopping mall prop hire.  Please do contact us for more details if you require hire for longer than the standard 4 hour booking.
